1. The Basics

1.1 Who We Are

LTDStory is operated by Beldene Limited, an Ontario corporation, with operations through Beldene Solutions LLC (Wyoming). When we say “LTDStory,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean both entities.

Our platform is a curated directory of lifetime deal (LTD) opportunities for SaaS and software products. We help you discover great software deals while earning affiliate commissions when you make purchases.

1.2 Your Agreement

By using LTDStory.com (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our Platform.

We can update these Terms. If we make major changes, we’ll let you know via email or a notice on the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after changes means you accept the new Terms.

1.3 Who Can Use This

You must be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally able to enter contracts
  • Not prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law

If you’re using this on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2. How LTDStory Works

2.1 We’re a Directory, Not a Store

LTDStory is a curated directory platform. Here’s what that means:

  • We find and feature deals: We research and curate lifetime deal opportunities
  • We provide information: Product descriptions, pricing, and deal details
  • We link you to vendors: Clicking on deals redirects you to the vendor’s website
  • We don’t sell products: All transactions happen directly between you and the vendor
  • We earn affiliate commissions: When you purchase through our links, we may earn a commission

2.2 Affiliate Links

Most links on LTDStory are affiliate links. When you click a link and make a purchase:

  • You’re redirected to the vendor’s website or their platform (like AppSumo, etc.)
  • Your transaction is with the vendor, not with us
  • We may receive a commission from the vendor
  • You pay the same price as going directly to the vendor

2.3 No Purchase Required

Using LTDStory is completely free. You’re never required to make purchases through our links.

3. For Users (Deal Seekers)

3.1 Using the Platform

You can:

  • Browse lifetime deals
  • Read product descriptions and reviews
  • Subscribe to our newsletter for deal alerts
  • Click on affiliate links to vendor sites

3.2 What You Can’t Do

You may not:

  • Scrape or data-mine our listings
  • Use automated tools to access the Platform
  • Copy or republish our curated content
  • Attempt to circumvent affiliate tracking
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Impersonate others or provide false information

3.3 Your Purchases

When you purchase through our links:

  • The vendor is responsible: Product delivery, support, refunds, and quality
  • We’re not liable: We don’t control vendors or their products
  • Read vendor terms: Each vendor has their own terms and policies
  • Check refund policies: Refund terms vary by vendor and deal
  • Verify deal details: Pricing and availability can change

3.4 Disputes with Vendors

If you have issues with a purchase:

  1. Contact the vendor first: They’re responsible for customer service
  2. If unresolved: Email us at hello@ltdstory.com – we’ll try to help
  3. We can’t guarantee resolutions: We’ll do our best, but we can’t force vendors

We may remove listings if we receive credible evidence of fraud or serious issues.

3.5 Newsletter Subscriptions

If you subscribe to our newsletter:

  • You’ll receive curated deal alerts and updates
  • You can unsubscribe anytime by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email
  • We won’t share your email with third parties (see our Privacy Policy)
  • Your information will never be shared with any third party

4. For Vendors (Product Creators)

4.1 Getting Featured on LTDStory

LTDStory is a curated platform. We select deals based on:

  • Product quality and value
  • Deal terms and pricing
  • Vendor reputation
  • Community fit

4.2 We Don’t Accept Paid Listings

Unlike some platforms, we don’t charge vendors to be listed. Our listings are based on merit and curation, not payment.

4.3 Affiliate Partnerships

If you want your product featured:

  • Contact us at hello@ltdstory.com
  • We’ll evaluate your product and deal
  • If selected, we’ll establish an affiliate arrangement
  • We earn commissions on sales made through our links

4.4 Vendor Responsibilities

If you’re a vendor featured on LTDStory, you’re responsible for:

  • Honoring the pricing and terms we advertise
  • Providing quality customer support
  • Fulfilling all orders and refunds
  • Complying with all applicable laws
  • Maintaining product functionality and updates

4.5 Removal from Platform

We reserve the right to remove any listing for any reason, including:

  • Poor customer feedback or reviews
  • Failure to honor advertised terms
  • Vendor requests
  • Changes in our curation standards
  • Legal or ethical concerns

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

The LTDStory Platform, including design, code, logos, curation, descriptions, and content, is owned by LTDStory and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You can’t:

  • Copy, modify, or republish our content
  • Use our name or branding without permission
  • Scrape or data-mine our listings
  • Reverse engineer our Platform

5.2 Vendor Content

Vendors retain ownership of their product names, logos, and descriptions. By allowing us to feature their products, vendors grant us a license to:

  • Display product information
  • Use product names and logos in our directory
  • Share listings on social media and marketing
  • Create thumbnails and excerpts for directory purposes

5.3 User-Generated Content

If you submit reviews, comments, or other content:

  • You grant us a license to display and use that content
  • You represent that you own or have rights to the content
  • We can moderate, edit, or remove user content at our discretion

5.4 Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on our Platform infringes your copyright, email us at hello@ltdstory.com with:

  • Description of the copyrighted work
  • URL of the allegedly infringing content
  • Your contact information
  • Statement that you have a good faith belief it’s unauthorized
  • Statement that your notice is accurate
  • Your signature

We’ll investigate and take appropriate action.

6. Disclaimers and Limitations

6.1 No Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Warranties regarding product quality or vendor reliability
  • Warranties that listings or deals are accurate or up-to-date
  • Warranties that deals will remain available

6.2 Third-Party Products and Services

We curate and feature products, but:

  • We don’t endorse or guarantee products: Our listings don’t constitute endorsements
  • Vendors are independent: We don’t control vendors or their products
  • Information may be outdated: Pricing, features, and availability can change
  • Your relationship is with the vendor: Not with LTDStory

6.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

LTDSTORY, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
  • Damages arising from your use of the Platform
  • Damages related to products purchased through our affiliate links
  • Issues with vendors, products, or customer service
  • Inaccurate or outdated deal information
  • Expired or unavailable deals

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU WILL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.

6.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LTDStory harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Any dispute between you and a vendor

7. Privacy and Data

7.1 Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using LTDStory, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

7.2 Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Provide Platform functionality
  • Track affiliate referrals
  • Analyze usage and improve the Platform
  • Remember your preferences

7.3 Third-Party Tracking

Vendors and affiliate platforms may use their own cookies and tracking technologies when you click our links. We’re not responsible for third-party tracking.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Governing Law

For Canadian users: These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

For US users: These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA.

8.2 Disputes with LTDStory

If you have a dispute with us:

  1. Contact us first: Email hello@ltdstory.com. Most issues can be resolved through conversation.
  2. Informal resolution: We’ll work with you in good faith to resolve the issue within 30 days.
  3. Arbitration (US users): If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for small claims court matters or injunctive relief.
  4. Court (Canadian users): Disputes may be brought in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

8.3 Disputes with Vendors

We’re not a party to your transaction with vendors. Any disputes about products, refunds, or service must be resolved directly with the vendor.

8.4 Class Action Waiver

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, NOT AS A CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or Platform notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9.2 Changes to Platform

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or any feature at any time without liability.

9.3 Termination

We can terminate or suspend your access for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abusive or fraudulent behavior
  • Legal requirements
  • Any reason, at our discretion

You can stop using the Platform anytime.

9.4 Entire Agreement

These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Affiliate Disclosure constitute the entire agreement between you and LTDStory.

9.5 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

9.6 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce a provision doesn’t waive our right to do so later.

9.7 Assignment

You can’t transfer your rights under these Terms. We can assign these Terms to a successor or affiliate.
